About proSapient

proSapient is an innovative Expert Network and primary research platform, connecting clients with industry experts who provide the specialized knowledge and insights needed to make informed business decisions. Our clients include many of the world's leading consultancy and private equity firms. Since our launch in 2017, we have continued to redefine Expert Networking through technology, including the development of the industry's first AI-powered platform.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, proSapient employs over 300 people across four global locations in London, Raleigh, Toronto, and Lisbon. Our growth and innovation have been recognized by the Financial Times, Sifted, and Tech Nation, including recognition as a Future Fifty Company. We are continuously reimagining the Expert Networking space and remain at the forefront of technological innovation, committed to building the future of knowledge discovery.

About the Job

Looking to start your career in a fast-paced, high-velocity commercial role? Seeking to have an immediate personal impact, gain invaluable commercial skills, and build deep exposure to a diverse range of industries and business challenges? If so, our Client Services team is the right place for you.

You will join as part of a dedicated onboarding cohort, starting your journey with two weeks of structured training and enablement designed to equip you with the tools, platform knowledge, and confidence you need before managing active client projects.

As a Client Services Associate, you'll act as the link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. You will manage multiple parallel workstreams from dealmakers, strategists, and consultants at top-tier organizations, understanding the expertise required, mapping complex industries, and engaging professionals before presenting them to the client. The role is highly client-focused, fast-paced, and results-driven. You will balance multiple live requests at once, communicate daily across industries, and execute with speed, precision, and strong commercial judgment.

What is an Associate?

Working closely with the Client Services Manager, you will take full ownership of client requests from the initial brief through to identifying, engaging, and qualifying relevant experts. Success requires moving quickly, adapting seamlessly when priorities pivot, and managing multiple projects effectively while delivering an exceptional standard of service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Understand Client Needs: Understand client briefs, project objectives, and required expertise. Build enough commercial and market context quickly to effectively identify and target the right professionals.

Identify the Right Experts: Leverage proSapient's proprietary AI-powered platform, professional networks, and advanced sourcing channels to map industry value chains and surface top-tier experts.

Engage and Qualify Experts: Spend a significant part of your day conducting outbound outreach via phone, email, and messaging. Ask targeted, probing questions to assess suitability and secure critical insights.

Manage Client Projects: Balance multiple live requests, competing deadlines, and shifting priorities with urgency, composure under pressure, and strict attention to detail.

Build Professional Relationships: Communicate with senior professionals across industries, developing the executive presence, persuasion, and relationship-building skills required to succeed.

Deliver Results: Take absolute ownership of your individual targets and project outcomes, capitalizing on our uncapped commission structure to drive your earnings and promotion.

What the job is really like:

Be ready for a high-volume outbound environment where experts you contact won't reply, and some who agree will cancel. Clients often need experts within hours, not days. You will constantly pivot across multiple fast-moving research projects, and you will carry a clear, visible number every single month. This role is built for people who treat rejection as feedback and thrive when the pace picks up.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are motivated to build their careers in a performance-driven environment. You will be well suited to this role if you:

Hold an undergraduate degree with a strong record of academic achievement, coupled with a genuine curiosity about how businesses work and energised by a new industry every week.

Demonstrate strong communication and outbound execution: Confident on the phone and skilled in written communication, with the presence needed to clearly explain a client brief and engage diverse experts.

Are driven by measurable goals, competitive performance metrics, and taking complete ownership of your individual output.

Have started or built something of your own, such as a club, side business, project, or initiative that would not exist without your involvement.

Have a track record of competing and winning, whether in sport, sales, academics, or another performance-driven environment.

Possess strong cognitive agility and intellectual curiosity - you love learning about new industries and can rapidly grasp unfamiliar business topics.

Excel at prioritization and execution, keeping a sharp eye on detail even while multi-tasking across fast-moving workstreams.

Demonstrate high resilience and adaptability when priorities change or challenges arise.

Want direct, frequent feedback and act on it quickly.

Benefits

proSapient offers a benefits package designed to support your performance, development, and experience at proSapient, including:

Uncapped Commission Structure: Designed to reward strong individual results.

Paid Time Off: 17 days of paid time off (PTO) annually.

Extended Health Benefits: Coverage including dental, vision, and prescription drugs, alongside additional services.

Hybrid Working: Three days per week in our Downtown Toronto office (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

Remote Working Days: Up to 20 remote working days each year, providing additional flexibility beyond our standard hybrid model.

Advancement Pathways: Structured opportunities to develop your commercial skills, take on greater responsibility, and progress as an individual contributor from Associate to Senior Associate (and beyond), or progress as a Manager and develop valuable team leadership skills early in your career.

Enhanced Parental Benefits: Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits to support our employees and their families.

Employee Assistance Program: Access to confidential resources and support.

Employee Resource Groups: Opportunities to participate in or lead employee communities that support diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

Team and Company Events: Connect with colleagues through team socials, quarterly gatherings, and annual summer and holiday celebrations.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Please note that proSapient does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace - did you know that marginalized groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every requirement listed? If you are interested in the above role, but don't necessarily tick every box, we encourage you to apply anyway - this role could still be a great match!

At proSapient, we are an equal opportunity employer. As such, we offer equal employment opportunities without regard to race, colour, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and other protected class characteristics. All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.

Due to the regulated nature of our clients, all successfully offered candidates are subjected to thorough screening & pre-employment checks, including an enhanced background check, which can affect the outcome of any offer of employment.

This is a live vacancy and we're actively working to fill this role as soon as possible. As part of our recruitment process, we use AI-assisted tools to help inform our decisions. These tools are used for support only and do not make any hiring or employment decisions independently. All final decisions are made by a member of our team.
