About the Role

Our client in the finance and leasing space is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and proactive Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in finance, equipment leasing, lending, or financial services who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working in a fast-paced B2B environment.

In this client- and partner-facing role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing and expanding vendor and partner relationships, supporting client acquisition, and growing the company’s presence in the market. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through active prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and market research.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
Build relationships with prospective clients and understand their financing and leasing needs.
Develop and execute effective business development strategies to increase market presence and revenue.
Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance objectives.

Vendor & Partner Management

Establish, manage, and grow long-term relationships with vendors, dealers, brokers, and strategic partners across various sectors.
Identify and develop new vendor and partner opportunities.
Lead the onboarding process for new vendors, including needs assessments, documentation, and integration.
Provide partners with product training, leasing solutions, and sales enablement resources.
Act as a key point of contact for vendors and partners, ensuring a high level of service and ongoing engagement.
Identify opportunities to expand existing partner relationships and increase business volume.

Client Support & Leasing Coordination

Respond to incoming client inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, responsiveness, and urgency.
Understand client requirements and help identify appropriate financing and leasing solutions.
Work closely with internal sales, administration, credit, and service teams to ensure the smooth processing of leasing and financing applications.
Coordinate leasing documentation, approvals, follow-ups, and client communications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales and leasing process.
Ensure client and partner requests are followed through to resolution.

Reporting & CRM Management

Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, prospect interactions, partner relationships, and pipeline status within the CRM system.
Track leads, opportunities, applications, approvals, and completed transactions.
Prepare regular sales activity reports and performance updates for sales leadership.
Use CRM and other digital tools to manage sales activities, follow-ups, and relationship development.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within equipment leasing, finance, lending, financial services, or a related industry.
Existing experience or knowledge of the leasing and financing industry is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business, develop relationships, and close sales.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and business development processes.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
Comfortable managing multiple opportunities, clients, and partner relationships simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
