Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in finance and leasing? ProxyLink is working with a client in the finance and leasing industry who is looking to hire a motivated, results-driven Outside Sales Specialist.

About the Opportunity

ProxyLink is partnering with a client in the finance and leasing sector to recruit a dynamic, proactive, and relationship-oriented Outside Sales Specialist to support their continued business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys developing new business, building strategic partnerships, and helping businesses access financing and leasing solutions. The successful candidate will play an important role in expanding the client’s market presence, establishing and strengthening vendor relationships, generating new leads, and supporting customers throughout the leasing process.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in B2B sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and deliver results in a fast-paced business environment. Experience in equipment leasing, commercial financing, financial services, or a related industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Lead Generation

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and market research.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects, ensuring consistent follow-up and effective management of opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Identify potential clients and business partners who could benefit from the company’s financing and leasing solutions.
Build relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and industry contacts to generate new revenue opportunities.
Develop strategies to increase client acquisition, improve conversion rates, and achieve established sales targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business expansion.

2. Vendor and Partner Relationship Management

Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with vendors, dealers, suppliers, and strategic business partners across relevant industries.
Identify and recruit new vendor partners to expand the company’s network and increase business opportunities.
Coordinate vendor onboarding, including conducting needs assessments, collecting documentation, and explaining relevant processes and requirements.
Educate vendors and partners on available leasing solutions, application procedures, and sales support resources.
Provide ongoing assistance and maintain regular communication to strengthen partnerships and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Identify opportunities to improve partner engagement and maximize the value of existing relationships.

3. Client Support and Leasing Coordination

Respond to client inquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
Understand client needs and help identify appropriate financing and leasing solutions.
Coordinate with internal sales, administration, and service teams to facilitate the smooth processing of leasing applications and customer requests.
Manage leasing documentation, application submissions, approval updates, and follow-up communications with accuracy and attention to detail.
Keep clients and vendor partners informed throughout the application process and follow up on outstanding information or documentation.
Build trust with clients by providing responsive service, clear communication, and consistent support from initial inquiry through the leasing process.

4. CRM Management and Sales Reporting

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, vendor relationships, leads, and pipeline progress using internal CRM systems.
Track prospecting efforts, follow-ups, conversion rates, and sales performance against established objectives.
Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management.
Organize sales documentation and maintain efficient administrative processes.
Use digital tools to manage priorities, maintain communication, and support business development activities.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will have a strong combination of sales experience, business development capabilities, and relationship management skills.

Proven experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, or account management.
Experience in equipment leasing, commercial financing, financial services, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop new business relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and work toward measurable targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities and confidence engaging with business owners, vendors, and decision-makers.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to follow-through and customer service.
Comfortable working independently in an outside sales capacity while collaborating with internal teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
The ability to learn new products, leasing programs, and internal processes quickly.
