ProxyLink is looking for an experienced AI Application Developer with demonstrated expertise designing, developing, testing, and integrating AI-enabled applications and enterprise solutions.
The successful candidate will work on modern AI solutions involving Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, agent-based workflows, document processing, knowledge retrieval, and human-in-the-loop approval processes. The role will focus on developing secure, scalable applications that combine AI capabilities with intuitive user workflows while ensuring business users remain accountable for reviewing, validating, and approving AI-generated content.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development and solution architecture experience, along with hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, DevOps, security, privacy, and Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI-powered applications and business workflows.
- Design, develop, and integrate AI agents into secure web-based enterprise platforms.
- Develop APIs, application services, middleware, and integrations that support AI capabilities, document processing, and workflow automation.
- Implement human-in-the-loop workflows that allow users to review, validate, modify, and approve AI-generated content.
- Design and implement data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, loading, integration, and validation.
- Develop and integrate Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions and AI services.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge retrieval, document processing, and content-generation capabilities.
- Develop multi-step AI agent workflows that integrate business rules, user interactions, and automated processing.
- Implement source traceability, output validation, auditability, and content verification capabilities.
- Translate technical specifications and business requirements into secure, scalable, and tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write, test, debug, optimize, and maintain application code.
- Design and implement scalable application architectures and modern software development patterns.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate front-end applications with backend services and cloud-based platforms.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, solution designs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support technical discovery, proof-of-concept development, MVP delivery, and iterative product enhancements.
Full-Stack Development & Solution Architecture – 45%
- Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web applications.
- Strong front-end and back-end development experience using modern frameworks, programming languages, and design patterns.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures.
- Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs, application services, middleware, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience integrating web applications with APIs, backend services, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with relational databases, data modelling, SQL, data integration, and data pipelines.
- Experience developing, debugging, optimizing, and maintaining production-quality application code.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications using LLMs, AI services, or enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience implementing RAG, knowledge retrieval, document processing, and intelligent content-generation solutions.
- Experience developing and integrating AI agents and multi-step agent-based workflows.
- Experience implementing human-in-the-loop processes for AI-generated content review, validation, and approval.
- Experience implementing source attribution, traceability, validation, audit logging, and explainability features.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience implementing Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), authentication, and authorization controls.
- Knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
- Experience designing applications for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational support.
Agile Delivery & Technical Collaboration – 25%
- Experience working within Agile product development and delivery teams.
- Experience participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, development tasks, epics, features, and user stories.
- Experience estimating development effort and breaking complex requirements into manageable delivery increments.
- Strong collaboration skills working with Business Analysts, Product Owners, UX Designers, Solution Architects, QA professionals, security teams, and other technical specialists.
- Experience documenting technical requirements, solution designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches.
- Experience supporting MVP development, proof-of-concepts, iterative delivery, and continuous product enhancement.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile project and backlog management platforms.
- Experience contributing to DevOps practices, release management, CI/CD, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to participate in technical discovery, solution validation, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept activities.
Security, Privacy & Quality Engineering – 20%
- Experience designing secure applications using security-by-design principles.
- Experience implementing role-based access controls, separation of duties, authentication, authorization, and audit logging.
- Experience designing applications that protect sensitive information and comply with privacy and security requirements.
- Experience implementing secure document uploads, document processing, notifications, generated content, and data exchange.
- Ability to design applications that prevent unauthorized access, information disclosure, and inappropriate use of AI-generated content.
- Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and operational support capabilities.
- Experience conducting unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience participating in code reviews and applying software quality assurance and development standards.
- Experience developing accessible applications aligned with AODA and WCAG requirements.
- Experience supporting production deployments, incident resolution, defect remediation, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Understanding of security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance considerations associated with AI-enabled applications.
