Role Summary

We are seeking a n ElectricalJourneyperson to join our team. This is a full-time position supporting a long-term industrial contract with a major energy-sector client, offering year-round work on a 7/7 rotation.

This position is available as either Drive-In/Drive-Out with a travel allowance or Fly-In/Fly-Out from Calgary or Edmonton on a 7 on 7 off rotation. The successful candidate will enjoy consistent work, a strong safety culture, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with PTW.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, AWP/EMP, ESTS,Fall Protection, Confined Space, Standard First Aid, and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage range from $47.30 to will commensurate with experience and certification.
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
