Role Summary

Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a Journeyman Electricians to join our team on a variety of industrial small-cap construction projects in Estevan. In this role, you will install and maintain electrical systems, assist with equipment placement, build cable tray and conduit systems, pull and terminate cables, and complete quality assurance checks and redline documentation to support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
• Standard First Aid, CSTS 2020 required ESTS and Valid H2S Alive are preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage will commensurate with experience and certification
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
