Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will design and build scalable, high-performing applications that support complex, business-critical and transactional platforms. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop modern user experiences, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

5–7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in:

Front-End Development: Proficiency in Angular, React, or similar frameworks for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
Back-End Development: Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) OR Python with FastAPI for developing scalable, high-performance services.

Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and working with microservices architectures.
Strong understanding of:

RDBMS: Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
NoSQL: MongoDB, ELK, or similar technologies.

Experience with messaging platforms such as Solace, MQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including:

CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible scripts and HELM charts.

Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Ability and willingness to share knowledge and mentor junior developers, promoting engineering best practices.
Experience building and supporting transactional and financial systems.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with Python web frameworks, such as Flask or Django, for lightweight web development.
Domain expertise in SWIFT Payments and ISO 20022 standards.
Experience with payment-processing applications, such as:

Payment Hubs
Wire Engine
Wire Room
Similar payment platforms

Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and distributed systems.
Experience integrating security protocols, such as JWT and OAuth, into applications.
Exposure to event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
