Role Summary
The Manager, National Construction supports the greater National Construction & Enterprise Procurement department and specifically National Construction Operations team located centrally in Montreal, QC. The Manager will support the Associate Director and will provide a supporting role in, capital, construction operations, department road map, and anywhere else needed. The Manager will be responsible to work closely with multiple teams in many departments and be able to effectively communicate.

Core Responsibilities

Ability to organize, plan, execute, implement, and monitor projects throughout all project stages.
Ability to define project goals and communicate to stakeholders through project closure.
Track & manage the production of required project deliverables, as needed to support the team.
Support capital planning, budgeting, and data collection
Anticipates operational risks and provides strategic solutions escalating to appropriate level when required.
Effectively communicates new or revised processes to construction and property management teams through written mediums and training.
Identifies areas within Technology platforms where field training is needed, i.e. Roof Manager, Site, Dojo, etc.
Works closely with Integrated Services leaders and other Departments on special planning and projects to meet company goals and initiatives.
Participates in the planning and development of new process design and implementation.
Develops training materials and presentations for new system implementations.
Supports, organizes and tracks transaction team requirements for the construction team.
Facilitates national contract execution, including actioning for disposition and acquisition activity.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

BA or BS in relevant field of study preferred (Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Management or similar).
3+ years experience in the commercial real estate and project management fields.
2+ years of property or building management experience handling customer service and administrative issues related to commercial real estate management is a plus.
2+ years handling projects and project management preferred.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft 365 Applications including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Yardi modules is a plus.
Strong aptitude for learning new software and platforms.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities.
Must be able to run projects from conception to implementation.
A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.
Intelligence, with a keen focus on details.
Presents excellent communication skills through oral and written mediums to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.

Le ou la gestionnaire travaille en étroite collaboration avec de nombreuses équipes et divers départements de l’organisation. Il ou elle doit démontrer d’excellentes aptitudes en communication et être en mesure de collaborer efficacement avec de multiples intervenants.

Principales Responsabilités

Capacité à organiser, planifier, coordonner, mettre en œuvre et assurer le suivi des projets à toutes les étapes de leur réalisation.
Capacité à définir les objectifs des projets et à les communiquer aux parties prenantes jusqu’à la clôture des projets.
Assurer le suivi et la gestion de la production des livrables requis, au besoin, afin de soutenir l’équipe.
Soutenir la planification des immobilisations, la préparation des budgets et la collecte de données.
Anticiper les risques opérationnels et proposer des solutions stratégiques, en effectuant les escalades aux niveaux appropriés lorsque nécessaire.
Communiquer efficacement les nouveaux processus ou les processus révisés aux équipes de construction et de gestion immobilière par le biais de documents écrits et de formations.
Déterminer les secteurs au sein des plateformes technologiques nécessitant de la formation pour les équipes terrain (p. ex. : Roof Manager, Site, Dojo, etc.).
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les dirigeants des Services intégrés et d’autres départements dans le cadre de projets spéciaux et d’activités de planification visant à soutenir les objectifs et les initiatives de l’entreprise.
Participer à la planification, à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux processus.
Élaborer du matériel de formation et des présentations pour le déploiement de nouveaux systèmes.
Soutenir, coordonner et assurer le suivi des besoins de l’équipe des transactions pour l’équipe de construction.
Faciliter l’exécution des contrats à l’échelle nationale, notamment dans le cadre des activités d’acquisition et de disposition d’actifs.
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe confiée par la direction.

Compétences et Expérience Requises

Baccalauréat (B.A. ou B.Sc.) dans un domaine pertinent, de préférence en gestion de la construction, en immobilier, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans les secteurs de l’immobilier commercial et de la gestion de projets.
Un minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en gestion immobilière ou en gestion d’immeubles, incluant la gestion du service à la clientèle et des tâches administratives liées à l’immobilier commercial, constitue un atout.
Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en gestion et coordination de projets, un atout important.
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft 365, notamment Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel et PowerPoint.
La connaissance des modules Yardi constitue un atout.
Grande capacité d’apprentissage de nouveaux logiciels et plateformes technologiques.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication interpersonnelle et en organisation afin de coordonner efficacement les activités de projets.
Capacité à gérer des projets de leur conception jusqu’à leur mise en œuvre.
