As an SMB Sales Executive you'll play a key role in Purolator's growth by identifying, engaging, and acquiring new customers. This is a true hunter role where your ability to prospect, build relationships, and uncover new opportunities will directly contribute to your success. You'll be supported by industry-leading solutions, a collaborative sales team, and a trusted Canadian brand, while having the autonomy to build your own book of business and make a measurable impact.

What You'll Do

Drive new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new customers to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through consistent outbound prospecting and relationship-building activities.
Conduct 50–75 outbound prospecting calls each day, utilizing phone, email, Microsoft Teams, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, social selling, and digital outreach strategies.
Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and create tailored engagement strategies that generate interest and uncover new business opportunities.
Develop trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers by understanding their business challenges and positioning Purolator's solutions as the preferred choice.
Utilize solution-selling methodologies to uncover customer needs and deliver customized logistics and transportation solutions that create long-term value.
Partner with Sales Managers on strategic opportunities, complex sales, and cross-functional business initiatives.
Successfully onboard new customers, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to valued client.
Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunity updates within Salesforce (or CRM) to ensure an organized and predictable sales pipeline.
Prepare pricing proposals, deliver compelling sales presentations, and confidently articulate Purolator's value proposition.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales performance, expand market presence, and contribute to the team's overall success.

What You'll Bring

Proven success in a business development, SMB's customers, or outbound prospecting role with a strong focus on generating net new business.
A true hunter mentality with the confidence and resilience to proactively create opportunities through cold outreach and networking.
Experience selling through multiple channels, including telephone, email, Microsoft Teams, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, social selling, and digital campaigns.
Strong prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence senior-level decision-makers.
Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and consistently deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
