A career within CMAAS will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex financial reporting issues around transactions and other transformational events. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of complex financing transactions while helping shape how a national capability is built and scaled.

This role provides strong visibility, meaningful leadership opportunities, and a platform to deepen your regulatory and capital markets expertise while contributing to initiatives that drive long‑term quality and efficiency.
As a Capital Market Transactions Manager, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:
- Overseeing the preparation and execution of prospectus‑related deliverables across a range of financing transactions
- Managing and reviewing prospectus documents, including performing first‑level reviews and coordinating feedback from internal and external reviewers
- Developing a strong understanding of Canadian and US securities regulatory requirements and proactively advising engagement teams and clients
- Coordinating with audit teams, capital markets specialists, clients, and external legal counsel to ensure timely, high‑quality outcomes
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of standardized processes, tools, and training materials
- Coaching and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Contributing to the ongoing build‑out and evolution of the Prospectus Centre of Excellence, including innovation initiatives that enhance delivery and efficiency
What You’ll Bring:
Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here’s what we look for:
- Experience managing teams within financial accounting and reporting, capital markets, transactions or public company audit environments
- Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE
- The ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- A passion for leading teams, navigating regulatory complexity, and contributing to the evolution of a growing national capability
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a collaborative mindset
- Flexibility to support client timelines, including peak periods where additional hours may be required

We’re committed to providing accommodation throughout the application, interview, and employment process. If you require accommodation to be at your best, please let us know during the application process.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruiting is just getting started, so we know you have questions about how and why we use it. At certain points during our recruiting process, we rely on AI to improve your experience. This could be during resume review or curating personalized job recommendations, asking you clarifying questions via a chatbot or during our interview scheduling to improve your experience. Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example). AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada. While AI supports parts of our recruitment process, final hiring decisions always involve human review. For more information about our use and protection of your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (https://www.pwc.com/ca/en/privacy-policy.html).
