Original job description

The role

We are adding a Senior Account Executive to our Ontario enterprise team. This is a senior, quota-carrying seat for someone who sells at the C-suite, brings a point of view to the table, and runs complex deals end to end.

You will win net-new enterprise logos and grow a set of strategic accounts across colocation, low density and high density deals.

Why Qu

Qu Data Centres operates nine data centres across Canada. We are investing to grow wholesale capacity and serve AI and high-density demand, and we are building a quota-carrying enterprise sales team to match. You will help shape how we sell, with the backing to win large deals.

What You'll Do

Win new enterprise logos

Build and work a target list of Ontario enterprises in segments where Qu can win.
Open doors at the C-level and lead discovery around the business problem (risk, resilience, cost, AI and high-density readiness), not just rack and power.
Generate your own pipeline.

Grow strategic accounts

Expand a set of strategic customers through renewals and new capacity, sites and services.
Build multi-threaded relationships from the CIO, CTO, CFO and COO to infrastructure, procurement and facilities leads.
Run account plans and executive business reviews tied to each customer’s infrastructure roadmap.

Close complex deals

Own large, multi-year colocation and wholesale deals from first meeting to signature.
Shape commercial terms early with product, legal and finance, and bring larger deals through internal deal review.
Build business cases and mutual action plans with the buyer's executives.

What You Bring

Must have

8+ years of B2B technology sales, with at least 5 years carrying a quota in enterprise accounts.
A record of closing large, multi-year deals with C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CFO, COO).
You can hunt and farm: net-new enterprise logos you opened and a strategic book you grew.
Experience running long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, procurement and legal.
A strong point of view: you challenge customers' thinking and lead the conversation.
You have built a territory or pipeline from scratch with little direction.

Nice to have

Experience selling data centre, colocation, connectivity, managed infrastructure or adjacent IT infrastructure.
Exposure to high-density or AI infrastructure buyers.

How Success Is Measured

New bookings and annual contract value against quota, split between new logos and account growth.
Net revenue retention and renewal rate across your book.
Qualified pipeline created, with coverage of the target set by leadership.
Executive relationships established in each strategic account.

Compensation

Base salary: From $130,000 per year, plus commission.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
