Position: Customer Service Advisor, Industrial Chemicals Division

Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC

Workplace flexibility: Hybrid position – We require a minimum of 2 days / week in office.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Customer Service Advisor to join our Industrial Chemicals Division, supporting a fast-paced and strategically important territory.

This is more than an order-entry role. You will be at the centre of the customer experience, managing orders and customer requirements, coordinating across departments, solving problems, and ensuring customers receive responsive, reliable service.

You will work closely with Account Managers as a trusted customer service partner, sharing customer insights, identifying evolving needs, and supporting the development and execution of a coordinated business strategy. Together, you will help strengthen customer partnerships, improve the overall service experience, and contribute to sustainable growth across the territory.

You will have the autonomy to independently manage your responsibilities, priorities, and customer needs while also contributing to a collaborative CSR team. Our Customer Service Representatives share knowledge, support coverage, and work together as priorities evolve.

What would be your main responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor ? :

Accurately process and manage customer orders in JD Edwards, maintaining data integrity throughout the order lifecycle.
Review and validate purchase orders, customer requirements, agreements, and account information.
Monitor orders from entry through fulfillment and proactively communicate clear, timely updates.
Respond to customer inquiries with ownership, professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency.
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to align customer expectations with operational capabilities.
Use Salesforce to document and manage customer interactions, activities, and account information.
Maintain accurate customer and account records and review reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Monitor, manage, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using results to identify trends, support continuous improvement, and help maintain service standards across the territory.
Proactively investigate issues, recommend solutions, and follow through to resolution.
Manage multiple customers, orders, systems, deadlines, and competing priorities throughout the day.
Support fellow CSRs by sharing information, contributing to coverage, and helping deliver a consistent customer experience.

What will help you succeed:

Minimum 5 years of relevant customer service experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a related environment.
A DEC in administration, business, or a related field is considered an asset.
Experience in distribution, chemicals, ingredients, manufacturing, or a related industry
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership from start to finish.
A collaborative team mindset and a genuine willingness to support fellow CSRs.
A positive, professional, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented approach.
Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Confidence managing multiple priorities and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer communication skills by phone and email.
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed, with essential traits such as compassion, integrity, and honesty
Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.

This is a multi-system environment. You must be comfortable moving between business systems and communication platforms while maintaining accuracy, organization, and timely follow-up.

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $52,300.00 to $78,515.00. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits.
