We are creating the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Applications role to unify these platforms under one architecture and delivery standard. The role leads Quadra Digital’s (QD) Design Authority pillar alongside Business Authority and Digital Workplace & Infrastructure.
Reporting to our CDIO, this visible, hands-on leader will guide the team, own the budget and investment portfolio, review designs and delivery practices, and partner with business leaders to turn priorities into measurable value.

Why This Role Matters:
- Own enterprise architecture, business capability and process architecture, enterprise information architecture and master data governance, and AI-solution architecture and governance across CRM, ERP, transportation, analytics, employee experience and AI, as well as Quadra-critical regulatory platforms (Intelligent SDS Authoring, labelling, product stewardship and compliance).
- Lead the platform managers, product owners, delivery squads, project management and QA under one intake and delivery model.
- Enforce design, security, testing and release standards to make delivery predictable.
- Own the digital budget and investment portfolio with Finance, the CDIO and business leaders.
- Measure digital outcomes through revenue, margin, cost, service, working capital and productivity.
What would be your main responsibilities as Head of Enterprise Architecture & Applications?:
- Define and govern target architecture across applications, integrations, data, security and AI; approve major designs, configurations, developments and releases.
- Directly manage the platform managers, product owners, project management, QA, development and functional specialists - setting priorities, capacity, performance and development expectations.
- Own delivery from qualified demand through release and Level 3 support, including application security, published SLAs and clear technical ownership.
- Set and enforce delivery standards for requirements, backlogs, acceptance criteria, UAT, Jira, testing and Definition of Done.
- Bring the roadmap and enhancement portfolio to the quarterly QD Prioritisation Board and provide technical validation for production changes.
- Map business capabilities, processes and applications to align investments, reduce duplication and challenge proposed solutions early.
- Evaluate AI and regulatory platforms (e.g., SDS authoring, labelling, product stewardship) against security, compliance, integration, data and business-value requirements.
- Own digital opex and capex planning, business-case quality, stage gates and value realization with Finance, Business Authority and the relevant Key Account.
- Advise business leaders on roadmap, feasibility, cost and sequencing; lead vendor selection and performance management.
- Assess and integrate application landscapes acquired through mergers and acquisitions.
What are the required qualifications and experience to succeed in this role:
- 15+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, application management or digital delivery, including 5+ years leading specialists or Product Owners.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, software or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven design-authority experience across multiple platforms, including solution, integration and release approvals.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: Salesforce, Oracle JD Edwards E1 or similar ERP, Oracle OTM/TMS
- Strong integration and API architecture experience across ERP, CRM and TMS in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate commercial, operational and financial priorities into practical technology decisions.
- Strong oral presentation skills: clear, confident communication of complex ideas, analysis outcomes, architectural concepts and design decisions - and their justification - tailored to diverse audiences and stakeholder needs.
- Experience governing requirements, backlogs, Jira or Azure DevOps, SDLC controls, change management, segregation of duties and audit/compliance reviews.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and ability to challenge stakeholders, defend decisions, bring stakeholders to understand and accept new approaches and deliver measurable business benefits.
- Proven experience owning and managing significant technology operating and capital budgets and investment portfolios, in partnership with Finance and business leaders, with accountability for forecasting, prioritization, cost control and value realization.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Assets: MuleSoft or similar API integration platform experience; TOGAF, Zachman, AWS/Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI/Fabric, Agile/SAFe or Scrum certification; distribution, chemicals, supply chain, regulatory/product stewardship or post-acquisition integration experience.
Working Conditions
- Permanent, full-time senior leadership role based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, with three full office days per week.
- Travel up to 15% across Canada and the United States.
- Occasional off-hours involvement for major releases, incidents or critical business events.

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $135,000.000 to $205,000.00. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits.
