Original job description

Position: Software & Integrations Developer (CRM)
Location: Vaudreuil, Quebec

Work model: Hybrid, with a minimum of two full days per week in our Vaudreuil office
Status: Full-time, permanent (1) (This is a newly created position within the organization)

Build the CRM platform behind a growing North American business

At Quadra, Salesforce is not a side system. It is how our commercial teams find, win, and serve customers across North America. We are looking for a Software & Integrations Developer (CRM) to build, extend, and integrate that platform as the business grows.

Reporting to the Commercial Applications Manager, you will be hands-on with Apex, Flows, Lightning, integrations, and releases. You will work closely with the business, the data, and the people who use the platform every day.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys ownership: ownership of a build, a release, and a result. You'll join a company that is small enough for your work to be visible, yet large enough for it to have a meaningful impact.

At Quadra, we put people first so that together, we can reimagine what's possible.

For more than 50 years, Quadra has placed its 650+ employees at the heart of its success across North America. We offer an engaging culture, a collaborative and human environment, and a high level of autonomy and flexibility. Joining Quadra means being part of a professional, innovative and passionate team, within a growing, people-focused organization certified Great Place to Work®. We have also been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies for over 20 years, and as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada® in 2025. A leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, Quadra continues to grow with a strong commitment to its teams. If you are driven by excellence, you belong here!

Why This Role Matters

You will build and extend the platform our commercial teams run on - Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Account Engagement and the integration behind them.
You will own real development work end to end: design, build, test, deploy and support, with source control and CI/CD as the standard, not the exception.
You will connect Salesforce to the rest of the business - ERP, transportation and marketing - through MuleSoft and APIs.
You will work directly with sales, customer service and marketing teams, close enough to the business to challenge a requirement before you build it.
You will help bring AI and automation into day-to-day commercial work, including Agentforce, Flows and agent-based solutions.

What will be your main responsibilities as a Software & Integrations Developer (CRM)?

Lead the configuration and customization of Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows and platform automation.
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other Quadra systems using MuleSoft and APIs, ensuring reliable and scalable data flows across CRM, ERP and marketing platforms.
Champion and apply source control (Git) and CI/CD best practices to support development, deployments and release management across environments.
Provide expert oversight of Salesforce configuration, including users, profiles, roles, permissions, sharing rules, custom objects, fields and validation rules.
Develop and optimize reports, dashboards and flows that support commercial operations and business decision-making.
Ensure the integrity, quality and governance of enterprise data across the CRM ecosystem.
Assess platform readiness and lead release preparedness activities for Salesforce seasonal releases, upgrades and system enhancements.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities to simplify and optimize outcomes.
Contribute technical expertise to project planning, effort estimation and delivery commitments.
Collaborate with developers, administrators, Product Owners and technology partners to drive cohesive and effective solution delivery.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify, recommend and implement platform improvements, while maintaining expertise in Salesforce capabilities, emerging technologies and industry best practices.

What are the required qualifications to have success in this position?

5+ years of proven Salesforce development experience, with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a relevant technology-focused discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components.
Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud is required; Experience Cloud and Account Engagement (Pardot) are an asset.
Experience with integration tools, APIs and third-party applications; MuleSoft experience is an asset.
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, MuleSoft Developer, Platform App Builder, Account Engagement (Pardot) Specialist, Agentforce Specialist) are highly preferred.
Working knowledge of source control (Git) and CI/CD practices in a Salesforce context.
Knowledge of adjacent commercial applications such as ERP or marketing automation platforms is an asset.
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; bilingualism (French and English) is preferred for this position.

Working Conditions:

Permanent, full-time position based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.
Hybrid model: mandatory presence in the Vaudreuil office a minimum of 2 full days per week, in line with Quadra policy.
Occasional travel to collaborate with Quadra sites, vendors or external partners within Canada and the United States.
Occasional off-hours involvement during major releases or critical business events.
Requires autonomy, strong collaboration and comfort working across both business and technology topics.

You Might Be the Right Person If…

You like owning a build from the first conversation to the release note. You are the developer people trust with production, because your work is tested, documented and in source control. You ask what problem we are actually solving before you start building, and you push back when a request adds complexity without adding value. You are pragmatic: you build what fits a 650-person company, not a 10,000-person one. And you care as much about whether the business actually uses what you shipped as about how elegantly it was built.

We want to meet you!

Here are some of the perks of choosing Quadra:

Permanent, full-time position: Join us for a stable, long-term career
Competitive salary & Performance Incentives: Your hard work is rewarded with attractive compensation and bonuses

Hybrid Work & Autonomy: A hybrid schedule and the autonomy to manage your own time!

Generous Time Off: Flexible personal days, sick days and vacation to recharge
Wellness Programs: Enhance your quality of life with wellness initiatives, including health and mental wellness programs from healthcare leaders
Pension plan with match: Plan your future with our matched pension plan program
Tech Perks: We got you covered with cellphone and internet costs
Family-owned and support environment: Be part of a private, family-owned company with a strong infrastructure and core values
Award-Winning Workplace: Work in a certified Great Place to Work®, and Best Managed Company!
Inclusive Culture: We celebrate diversity and caring for each other and having fun are part of our core values!
Career Growth: Unlock opportunities for development in a fast-paced growing company
Fun Social Activities: Get involved in company events, Volunteering programs, etc.

And Much More !

At Quadra, we are committed to offering a competitive and rewarding total compensation package that recognizes your expertise and supports your professional growth.

Quadra supports and values diversity and offer equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status and gender identity.
