Many of our local clients and families communicate best in Korean. Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation tailored to client preferences
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist / Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship and converse fluently in Korean
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting
- Shifts ranging anywhere from 2 hours up to 12 hours

- Fluency in Korean alongside conversational English
- Prior experience as a Caregiver or Health Care Aide required
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student preferred)
- Current CPR / First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel to client homes in the local area
- Access to Internet / smart phone with data

Responsibilities
Provide in-home personal care, hygiene assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship for clients, with a focus on Korean-speaking clients. Follow care plans, document services, and accompany clients on outings, shopping trips, and errands.
Requirements
Fluency in Korean and conversational English are required, along with prior caregiver or Health Care Aide experience; an HCA certificate or equivalent is preferred. Candidates need current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it, a Vulnerable Sector CRC or willingness to obtain one, access to a smartphone with data and the internet, and the ability to travel to local client homes.
