Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning, including responding to RFIs and participating in site visits and field reviews
Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and inspections as required
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil/structural, electrical layout, telecom, etc.) to ensure coordinated designs
Support project delivery by managing assigned tasks within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop technical problem-solving skills
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
Travel to client sites as required during project execution

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC
0–2 years of relevant experience, in power systems, transmission & distribution, or substation design (co-op or internship experience considered an asset)
Basic familiarity with substation protection and control systems is an asset
Exposure to utility standards and industry codes (CSA, IEEE, IEC, Canadian Electrical Code) is an asset
Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with protection and controls tools or relay software is an asset
