- Provide technical reviews, estimating, and resource forecasting.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers within a geographically distributed team.
- Collaborate closely with internal disciplines, contractors, client representatives and other project stakeholders to foster trust, alignment, and successful project outcomes.
- Conduct field investigations and reviews (up to three trips within Canada per year as required).
- Champion safety in the office, field, and by embedding safe‑by‑design principles in all engineering decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Electrical engineering degree, or related degree from a recognized university.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Alberta, or another Canadian jurisdiction.
- 8+ years of progressive and relevant telecommunications and/or industrial networking experience.
- Strong understanding of the consulting engineering process, including scope definition, estimating, design development, interdisciplinary coordination, quality reviews, client communication, and construction support.
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code, and other relevant electrical, telecommunications, utility, or client engineering standards.
- Ability to complete client-required security screening or background checks, where applicable.
- Ability to work from the office a minimum of three days per week.
