Help build the business behind technology

Quantolio develops AI-driven tools that help organizations turn complex data into better decisions. Our work spans advanced analytics, explainable AI, and emerging quantum technologies, with applications in financial services and critical infrastructure.

Building a technology company takes more than engineering. It takes the ability to understand a market, make a compelling business case, secure funding, and bring the right partners together.

We are looking for an ambitious university student who wants to contribute to that work, alongside the founder and senior leadership.

The role

As our Innovation & Growth Associate, you will work directly with the founder and CEO on innovation funding, business development, and strategic initiatives.

Grants and innovation funding will be a substantial part of your mandate. You will help identify opportunities, evaluate their fit, develop compelling applications, and coordinate the evidence needed to support them. Alongside this work, you will contribute to market research, partnership development, commercial outreach, and other priority projects.

You will collaborate with technical teams to understand what we are building, why it matters, and how to communicate its value to funders and prospective partners.

We are looking for someone who can move beyond collecting information to making a recommendation: Which opportunity should we pursue? What evidence is missing? What needs to happen next?

What you'll do

Develop funding opportunities from research through submission. Identify relevant grants and innovation programs, assess eligibility and evaluation criteria, and recommend where to focus our effort.
Build compelling proposals and business cases. Translate technical and commercial information into clear applications, project descriptions, market analyses, and supporting budgets. Work with leadership and technical contributors to ensure the evidence supports the argument.
Keep important initiatives moving. Coordinate deadlines, gather supporting documents, track outstanding questions, and maintain reusable company materials. Support funding reports and follow-ups, with leadership responsible for final review and approval.
Support business development and partnerships. Research prospective clients, partners, and markets. Prepare meeting briefs, presentations, and outreach materials, and turn conversations into clear next steps.
Improve how the work gets done. Build useful templates, organize research, and use approved AI tools to make recurring tasks more efficient without compromising accuracy or confidentiality.

What you'll bring

You are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, law, economics, business, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.

Your field of study matters less than the quality of your thinking and your ability to deliver.

You write with clarity and precision. You can work through a complex document, identify what matters, and develop a persuasive argument supported by evidence.
You are analytical and careful with details. You are comfortable working with spreadsheets, checking calculations, questioning assumptions, and spotting inconsistencies.
You take initiative and follow through. You can turn an open-ended task into a practical plan, ask focused questions, and keep others informed without needing repeated reminders.
You learn quickly and respond well to feedback. You are curious about unfamiliar technologies and business models, and you improve your work when new evidence or feedback calls for it.
You exercise sound judgment. You handle sensitive information responsibly, distinguish facts from assumptions, and know when to investigate independently and when to ask for guidance.

We welcome evidence of strong ability through academic achievement, research, case competitions, entrepreneurial projects, student leadership, or previous work experience.

Previous grant-writing experience is not required. Strong research, writing, judgment, and execution are. You do not need to be an AI or quantum specialist, but you should be willing to learn enough to explain technical work accurately.

How you will use AI

You should be comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, organize information, develop first drafts, and improve workflows.

The expectation is not simply to generate more content. It is to produce better work. You will be expected to verify sources, check calculations, and protect confidential information.
