Original job description

Position: Retail Assistant Manager
Location: Toronto, ON (On-Site)
Salary: $25-$28 per hour
Posting Type: Open vacancy
Job Type: 3-6 months (potential for extension)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Assistant Manager to oversee daily retail activities. The role focuses on store operations, customer service, inventory management, vendor coordination and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily retail operations and maintain efficient processes.
- Assist customers, manage inquiries, and coordinate orders.
- Maintain vendor relationships and support purchasing activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product availability.
- Support pricing strategies, cost management, and inventory control.
- Reconcile daily sales and prepare monthly reports.
- Support administrative tasks, process improvements, and team training.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years in retail operations or store management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory databases.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
