This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Project Manager with experience coordinating systems-based projects involving both technology and physical equipment. You will work on long-term projects serving municipalities, hospitals, airports, and commercial property management organizations, with regular site visits and direct involvement in project execution.

- Comprehensive benefits: Health benefits and an RRSP program.
- Work-life balance: Three weeks of vacation.
- Variety and ownership: Manage multiple projects across different customer sites from start to finish.
- Hands-on involvement: Balance project planning and coordination with regular site visits and installation oversight.
- Collaborative environment: Work closely with a small, experienced team where initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving are valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple parking technology implementation projects from planning and scheduling through installation, completion, and project closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, tracking milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, forecasts, purchase orders, invoicing milestones, and financial documentation in collaboration with internal finance teams.
- Coordinate customers, vendors, general contractors, electrical contractors, account managers, and internal technical and sales teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits and walkthroughs to assess installation conditions, site readiness, equipment placement, access requirements, and construction-related constraints.
- Oversee the installation and implementation of parking technology, including parking sensors, cameras, access barriers, lighting, ticketing equipment, and related systems.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and manage scope changes, delays, and escalations.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear status updates, action items, decisions, and risk assessments to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contractors and project participants adhere to agreed-upon scopes of work, timelines, quality expectations, and applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, change requests, approvals, and closeout records.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, operational efficiency, and overall project delivery.
- Build strong customer relationships by managing expectations, communicating proactively, and balancing customer requirements with project budgets and profitability.

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in systems-based project management or project coordination, ideally involving technology, equipment installation, or physical infrastructure.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel, including developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking project progress.
- Experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, risk management, and scope changes.
- A technical aptitude and the ability to understand how technology systems and physical equipment are implemented at customer sites.
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, address challenges proactively, and make sound decisions in a changing project environment.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations across multiple stakeholders.
- A hands-on, adaptable mindset, with the willingness to take ownership and manage multiple aspects of a project in a smaller team environment.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle for regular travel to project sites.
