Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand existing Ab Initio ETL graphs, workflows, transforms, and data processing logic.
- Document business rules, transformation logic, data mappings, and end-to-end data lineage.
- Execute Ab Initio workflows to generate baseline outputs for migration validation.
- Collaborate with SAP HANA developers to migrate ETL logic into HANA Stored Procedures.
- Provide technical guidance on Ab Initio architecture, design, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot ETL execution, data issues, and migration-related defects.
- Review Unix shell scripts, parameter files, and workflow orchestration components.
- Validate HANA implementation to ensure functional equivalence with the existing Ab Initio solution.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience.
- Strong expertise in Ab Initio ETL, GDE, graphs, plans, workflows, and transformations.
- Experience with ETL migration, data lineage, and business rule analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience working with SAP HANA Stored Procedures or supporting ETL migrations to HANA.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
