Job Title :: Backend Developer – Ruby on Rails & Golang
Toronto/ Brampton, ON-Onsite
Contract role
7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Strong development experience with Ruby and Golang.
- Experience designing, building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL/distributed databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, database design, performance and scalability.
- Experience with automated testing, source control and modern CI/CD development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in production environments.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in a cross-functional Agile team.
