Database Developer

Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)

6-12 months Contract role

  • We are looking for an experienced DB2 developer who has worked in a critical application with large sized DB2 Database (>=10TB).
  • The role requires the candidate to understand the landscape of the application and the data, including its topology across the Online Data store and the Data Warehousing counterparts.
  • The challenges we strive to solve include scalability and performance related to handling very large data sets and multiple data sources.
  • The role involves collaborating with global team members and provides a unique opportunity to network with a diverse group of people.
  • The candidate who fills this role of a Database developer in our team will be involved in building and creating solutions from the requirements stage through deployment.
  • A successful candidate is self-motivated, innovative, thinks outside the box, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work with clients and stakeholders from both the business and technology with ease.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions for a critical application using a DB2 database of at least 10 TB, addressing scalability and performance challenges across large data sets and multiple data sources.
