Senior Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with 10+ years of experience in test automation, Java, Selenium, API testing, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Cucumber. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in banking or financial services projects, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating APIs, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise banking applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Extensive experience in API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber, BDD, and Gherkin.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Experience working with SQL databases and validating backend data.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Banking Domain Requirements

• Strong experience working on banking or financial services applications.
• Understanding of banking workflows, financial transactions, and data validation.
• Experience testing banking systems such as payments, accounts, loans, cards, or digital banking platforms.
• Knowledge of transaction processing, reconciliation, and financial data integrity is an asset.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
