Title: Cloud Engineer II
Location: Toronto - Financial District - Hybrid
Duration: Permanent Full-time
Required Technical Skills / Qualifications
Graduation or Post Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 4-10 years of proven working experience in infrastructure deployment and maintenance
- Working experience on application security using Azure provided resources
- Experienced with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) deployment (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Certifications (good to have)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
- Terraform Associate
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, particularly AKS, Azure Networking, and Azure Security services.
- Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Strong Kubernetes and Docker administration skills.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong knowledge of networking including Firewalls, WAF, NSGs, VPNs, Private Endpoints, DNS, and Load Balancers.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with production incident management, root cause analysis, and operational support.
- Understanding of SRE principles, cloud security, and operational excellence.
- Good Knowledge and experience on JBoss/Wildfly and Postgres
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in issue triaging and resolution as per ITSM standards
- Willingness to learn new technology
- Good knowledge on incident handling, RCA ownership, AKS upgrades, patch management, certificate management, and customer-facing troubleshooting

Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, including AKS, networking, and security services, using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code practices. Support CI/CD pipelines, production operations, monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, upgrades, patching, and customer-facing troubleshooting.
Requirements
Requires a degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, along with 4–10 years of experience in infrastructure deployment and maintenance. Candidates should have hands-on Azure, AKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, networking, monitoring, scripting, and operational support experience; Azure, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications are desirable.
