Title: SR Enterprise Information Architect
Location: Hybrid (3 days on site) - Ottawa Or Toronto

Role Overview
The Enterprise Information Architect provides strategic leadership in information management and architecture. Working closely with data, business, and technology leaders, this role develops frameworks, models, governance practices, and roadmaps that help the organization use its information assets effectively while reducing data-related risks.
The role supports enterprise capabilities such as master data management, metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and information governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the Enterprise Information Management framework, strategy, and roadmap.
- Develop conceptual business information models that provide a technology-independent view of the organization’s information landscape.
- Define and implement metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, business glossaries, and information-classification standards.
- Maintain repositories documenting information sources, structures, classifications, relationships, and high-level data flows.
- Develop information-governance processes, standards, controls, and decision-making structures.
- Lead stakeholder discovery sessions to understand business objectives, information challenges, and data requirements.
- Improve the discoverability and self-service use of enterprise information assets.
- Identify and recommend enterprise information and data-management solutions.
- Translate complex information-architecture concepts into clear briefings and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, analytics, and business teams to align information initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Mentor data architects and promote consistent architecture practices across the organization.
- Champion digital transformation, knowledge sharing, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor emerging technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Continuously improve data standards, architecture processes, tools, and performance measures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- At least 10 years of enterprise-level experience in information architecture, data modelling, and information classification.
- At least 10 years of experience developing information-architecture frameworks, information models, metamodels, taxonomies, or ontologies.
- Experience developing enterprise information-management strategies, governance structures, and roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of how data and information can support business value, financial objectives, and organizational decision-making.
- Experience developing innovative strategies that improve data-driven decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder-management experience across technology, operations, and business teams.
- Experience evaluating the financial, workforce, operational, and customer impacts of information initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

- TOGAF certification or knowledge.
- MBA or equivalent business education.
