Original job description

Role: Identity & Access Management Lead Analyst / Security

Type: Perm Employment, 3X a week onsite in Ottawa ON

Responsibilities:

Designs, develops, implements, integrates, tests and manages solutions to support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) business objectives.
Involved in all phases of systems analysis, both the planning of system development and the technical design.
Provide leadership and guidelines in the implementation of solutions, ensuring the use of best practices while adhering to established University architectural standards.

Must Haves:

7 years of experience in identity & access management, security, or related area
5 years of experience in solution development, platform engineering, and implementation
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced knowledge of various programming languages and scripting languages (e.g.: Java, JavaScript, Python, Node, PowerShell, etc.) and of computing hardware, software and software development methodologies
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including access certification, RBAC, ABAC, identity lifecycle management, and policy enforcement
Extensive experience designing end-to-end business system solutions in a complex application and technology environment.
In-depth knowledge of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and SCIM

Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires at least seven years of experience in IAM, security, or a related area, and five years in solution development, platform engineering, and implementation. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent experience, advanced programming and scripting knowledge, strong IAM expertise, experience designing end-to-end solutions in complex environments, and knowledge of protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and SCIM.
