Title: Intermediate Salesforce Developer

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Employment Type: Contract

Experience Level: Intermediate (3–5+ years)

PositionOverview

We are seeking an Intermediate Salesforce Developer with strongexperience across the core Salesforce platform, including application development, configuration, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, business process automation, reporting, and ongoing application support.

The ideal candidate is a versatile Salesforce Developer with strong foundational development skills, broad experience across the Salesforce ecosystem, and an interest in applying AI to businessprocesses. They should be comfortable developing custom Salesforce functionality, supporting existing applications, building automated workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications to supportbusiness requirements.
  • Configure and enhanceSalesforce Sales Cloudsolution.
  • Develop and manageSalesforce campaigns, including audience management, task templates.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues,maintain data integrity, and optimize existingSalesforce functionality.

Salesforce AI & Automation

  • Support Agentforce, Einstein AI, and automation to improve business processes and user experience.
  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate and implement AI solutions.

Application Support & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide Salesforce support, resolve tickets, and escalate complex issues.
  • Communicate updates, maintain documentation, and manage competing priorities.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Maintain databases, improve data quality, and automate reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong experience with the core Salesforce platform, particularly Sales Cloud
  • Practical experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL,and Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Experience Builder.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing Salesforce reports and dashboards, with working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce applications, troubleshooting technicalissues, and managing support tickets.
  • Professionalexperience working with business stakeholders and development teams in North American business environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple development and support priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform DeveloperI or Platform Developer II certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Experience implementing Agentforce, Einstein AI, or Salesforce AI solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, REST APIs, and third-party applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools, Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and database management.
  • Previous experience supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations across multiple business functions.
