Position Summary:
QX is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and community-focused professional to become our first staff member and help lead the organization into its next stage of growth. The Manager, Community Programs & Engagement will be the operational lead for QX, overseeing day-to-day operations while leading program development and delivery, community engagement, partnership development, volunteer coordination, and sector representation. This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will be a visible and welcoming presence at the QX Community Centre, regularly engaging with community members through programs, drop-ins, events, and informal community activities. At the same time, they will work closely with the Board to build the systems, processes, partnerships, and volunteer structures needed to support QX's continued growth. The role will also represent QX within community networks, planning tables, coalitions, and advocacy initiatives across London-Middlesex.
