Overview

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products serving an $800 billion market. Partner strategically with hiring managers and business leaders to define talent needs, shape role requirements, and develop data-informed hiring strategies aligned to market realities.
Build and execute proactive, forward-looking sourcing strategies, leveraging talent mapping, market intelligence, networking, referrals, and talent community engagement to create sustainable pipelines.
Drive a systemic approach to recruiting by embedding inclusive hiring practices, reducing bias in processes, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes at every stage of the funnel.
Mentor and coach junior recruiters and coordinators, fostering capability building, knowledge sharing, and consistent adoption of best practices across the team.
Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and overall candidate and hiring manager experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, People Analytics, and business leadership on workforce planning, succession strategies, and long-term talent pipeline development.
Act as a brand ambassador for QXO in the North American market by representing the organization at industry events, career fairs, and networking forums.
Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health, diversity representation) to inform decision-making and drive accountability against hiring goals.

What you will bring:

5+ years of progressive recruiting experience, with a demonstrated track record of successfully hiring for complex, senior, or specialized roles in North America.
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Expertise in modern recruiting technologies, including ATS platforms, sourcing tools, CRM systems, and data-driven recruiting practices.
Proven experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and building diverse talent pipelines in competitive markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading others in a recruiting or talent acquisition function is strongly preferred.
Deep commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience and advancing inclusive hiring practices.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance: Enjoy the peace of mind provided by our comprehensive benefits package and telemedicine service designed to prioritize your well-being.

RRSP Program: Secure your future with a fair matching of your retirement contributions.

Paid leave: Recharge your batteries, balance work and personal life, benefit from personal emergency leave, and enjoy paid vacation and company-recognized public holidays to relax and pursue the activities you love.

Training and advancement opportunities: Open doors and access exciting opportunities by participating in our dynamic learning programs.
