The Opportunity

To thrive in a global economy, North American mills need to find innovative ways to reduce operating costs and increase productivity without compromising quality… or safety. At Radian Robotics, we recognize the vital role of steel, aluminum and wood in our world. We also understand the pressures that North American mills face and believe the answer lies in innovation through automation. Since 2009, we’ve made it our bold mission to propel North America’s heavy industries into a thriving future. A future where they can be more efficient, more productive and more profitable… but most importantly, a future where every worker goes home safe at the end of the day.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Capital Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue by selling advanced robotic automation solutions to industrial customers. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing effective automation proposals, and managing long-cycle, high-value sales opportunities from first contact through commissioning and follow‑up.

The salesperson will work closely with the Applications Engineer, who provides the technical expertise needed to support solution development and strengthen sales and marketing strategies. Success in this role requires a consultative, relationship‑driven approach and strong collaboration with engineering, applications, and service teams to deliver solutions that improve customer productivity, safety, and operational performance.

You are also expected to model the company’s core values - Courageous Problem Solver, 5 Star Commitment, Courageous Conversations, Bring the Spark, and Teamwork - while leading with clarity and fostering a culture of discipline and accountability.
