Service Coordinator

Location: Brampton, Ontario

Hours: 35 hours per week | 7 hours per day

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Service Coordinator to support day-to-day service operations. The successful candidate will coordinate customer service requests, schedule and dispatch service calls, communicate with customers and technicians, process invoices, and assist with parts, supplies, and logistics coordination.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple service requests and changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, enter, review, prioritize, and schedule customer service requests.
Coordinate service calls from initial request through completion.
Communicate with service teams regarding customer service calls.
Reassign work based on current workload and priorities.
Communicate service status changes and updates to customers.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
Validate and process service-call invoicing transactions.
Ensure completed service calls are processed for invoicing within required timelines.
Maintain accurate service and customer information.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Maintain inventory and supplies required for service operations.
Source, order, and track required parts and supplies.
Support logistics coordination activities as required.
Perform other administrative and customer-service duties related to service operations.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in customer service, dispatching, or a related environment.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and changing workloads.
Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle experience.
Experience with service-management or dispatch systems.
Experience with invoicing or Accounts Receivable.
Field service or technical service experience.
Experience coordinating technicians or field resources.
Inventory, parts, purchasing, or logistics experience.
Experience ordering and tracking service parts and supplies.
