Raise Workforce has partnered with the leading provider of workforce camp and hospitality services, operations and maintenance services. They are seeking a Journeyperson Plumber that will be responsible for maintenance, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems.
What You Will Be Doing...
- Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects / deficiencies
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures
- Provide input for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
- Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects
- Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements
- Other duties as assigned.
Why this is the right job for you…
- Journeyperson Certified Plumber (Red Seal) with a minimum of 4 years experience
- Gas Fitter License is required
- Current certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to read drawings and blueprints
- Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
- Abilities to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials.
- Basic PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
- Professional communication skills, oral, and written.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Work well under pressure.
- Effectively solve problems.
- You’re able to work in BC from now until Dec 31
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening include criminal record check and 10-panel drug and alcohol screen including THC
