Contract Length: 1 Year

Location: Vancouver British Columbia

Raise is currently hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst - Portfolio Reporting on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Portfolio/Project Performance Analyst in this role, will be responsible for transforming complex project data into clear, actionable insights. You will maintain reliable portfolio reporting, drive business process improvements, and communicate vital findings to project teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Data analytics: Extract, clean, transform, and analyze project performance data from SAP-BW and other systems.
Performance reporting: Produce standardized monthly/quarterly reports and timely ad hoc analysis.
Insight communication: Present analytical findings and reporting results clearly to project teams, senior leaders, and other audiences.
Portfolio processes: Support or facilitate activities such as forecast deep-dive reviews and project releases.
Process improvement: Identify reporting gaps and recommend improvements based on analytical judgment and business needs.
Reporting automation/standardization: Develop repeatable reports and processes that improve efficiency.
Process documentation: Document the team's operational processes and analytical activities.
Technology partnership: Work with the Technology Business Unit to ensure the underlying systems supporting Portfolio Management reporting are delivered and maintained for on-demand data access.
Problem solving: Independently resolve moderately complex issues within the role's authority, escalating or seeking input on more complex matters.
Team support: Assist senior team members and Team Leads as required.

Qualifications

8 years of strategic business analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Power BI experience is a must have requirement.
