Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3-4 days in office)
Pay Rate: $30.55/hr-$36.05/hr
Contract Length: 4 Months

We at Raise are hiring a Client Services Representative - Proficient for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. Responsibilities

Ensure all settlement activity and processes are completed with accuracy, timeliness and completeness within market time frames.
Provide a high level of service by responding promptly and accurately to daily queries and requests regarding Security Trade Settlement. Respond to specific requests received via email, query tracking system, telephone or email.
Perform accurate and complete reconciliation for End of Day Ledger Balancing
Reconcile cash and asset positions related to Settlements activity.
Advise Manager of all significant issues, escalate immediate concerns/risk to the Management team as appropriate.
Ensure that up-to-date desk operating procedures are maintained and accessible to team members and specific daily procedures are clearly documented.
Proactively support the team by assisting with workload, sharing knowledge and participating in cross training

Must-Have Skills

2 years relevant work experience
Solid knowledge of Trade settlement principles
Experienced with GL entries and reconciliations
Very strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (MS Word/Excel/ PowerPoint / Power BI)
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Analytical and detail-oriented qualities
Ability to work under pressure and meet very strict deadlines

Nice To Have Skills

Experience in financial services industry (specifically CDS & DTC markets)
Experience with macros and VBA development
Knowledge of systems employed by Securities Settlement including Arrow, Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS), Depository Trust Company (DTCC), Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM)

Responsibilities

Complete securities settlement processes accurately and on time, respond to client queries, and reconcile end-of-day ledgers, cash, and asset positions. Requirements

Requires at least two years of relevant experience, solid knowledge of trade settlement principles, and experience with general ledger entries and reconciliations.
