Contract Length: 1 year
Location: Lloydminster, Saskatchewan

Raise is currently hiring a Laboratory Administrator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

Reporting to the Canadian Refining Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Lloydminster Refinery Laboratory. This role is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations through document management, communications, reporting, procurement support, invoicing, and general office administration

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to laboratory leadership and staff.
Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, presentations, procedures, and communications.
Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and departmental resources.
Coordinate and track invoices, purchase requisitions, and supply orders.
Support onboarding activities, training records, and departmental schedules.
Maintain SharePoint sites, distribution lists, and communication channels.
Coordinate IT, office equipment, and facility service requests.
Act as a key communication resource within the laboratory and across refinery departments.
Perform reception and general office administration duties as required.
Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of administrative experience; industrial, laboratory, refinery, or oil and gas experience is an asset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience with SAP or similar business systems is considered an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Education and Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Administrative or Business Diploma preferred.
