Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (one day on-site (Thursdays)
Pay Rate: $27.48/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months with possible extension based on workload and performance

Responsibilities

Support the program management team in the successful delivery of a large-scale, enterprise-wide global brand initiative by coordinating activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Assist in building and maintaining project timelines, workback schedules to ensure projects remain on track and dependencies are clearly understood.
Monitor project progress, risks, blockers, and action items, proactively following up with owners and escalating issues when needed.
Coordinate the setup of project meetings, capture key decisions, risks, and action items and distribute concise meeting recaps.
Assist in preparation and maintenance of project documentation, governance materials, status reports, and reporting dashboards, ensuring information is accurate, current, and easily accessible.
Support project governance and operational excellence by maintaining best practices, improving processes, and ensuring high-quality data across project plans and reporting.

What will a successful candidate need to succeed?

University or college degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, marketing operations, or administrative support role.
Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including experience developing and maintaining project timelines, workback plans.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving project requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using project management tools such as Wrike, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
CAPM certification or progress toward a PMP certification.
Experience supporting large-scale marketing, branding, transformation, or organizational change initiatives.
