Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $80.44/hr - $94.94/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension

We at Raise are hiring a Senior Data Analyst for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. We’re hiring right now; if you’re interested, apply below for your chance to join a great place to work

Responsibilities

Perform data and business analysis related to investment management.
Analyze investment data and understand how it flows across different systems and platforms.
Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
Develop and run Python queries/scripts to support data analysis and investigation.
Work closely with Front Office teams to understand business requirements and data-related issues.

Technical & Domain Requirements

6–10+ years of overall experience in a combination of investment management and technical data analysis.
Strong Investment Management experience with technical data analysis.
Understanding of Front Office systems and investment platforms, such as Bloomberg.
Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
Strong understanding of data structures, data flows, and different investment systems.

Critical Must-Have

Investment Management experience combined with strong technical Data Analysis experience.

Nice-to-Haves

CFA designation or progress toward CFA (Level I–III).
Experience with investment management platforms. Experience supporting or working with Front Office/trading systems.
Experience working for direct competitors in asset management, insurance, or investment firm, particularly in a comparable environment.
