  • Investigations & Inspections: Lead incident investigations, issue documentation for executive review, perform routine shop walks, and ensure monthly shop/office inspections are completed and tracked.
  • Onboarding & Training: Conduct safety orientations for new hires and subcontractors, manage sign-on documentation, and schedule ongoing employee safety training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Shop Floor Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated safety experience working directly inside a welding, heavy fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial shop floor environment (Required).
  • Certifications: Active National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation or an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Certificate/Diploma is highly preferred.
