Reporting to the Controller, your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Work with the team to prepare intricate financial reports

• Cross-train in Financial, General, and Cost Accounting roles

• Aid in the preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

• Support department leaders with financial and operational analysis during the budgeting and forecasting process

• Coordinate with other department personnel

• Assist in both internal and external financial audits

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile sub-ledgers for assigned accounts

• Play a crucial role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including detailed financial statement analysis

• Assist in BOM audits and the collection of production data

• Serve as a backup for key accounting positions

• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• CPA designation or final stages

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is highly desirable

• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions

• Familiarity with PowerBI, SQL, Hyperion is desired

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and investigative abilities, with high proficiency in data handling

• Experience with in-depth analysis of large data sets

• Experience with annual audits, including SOX compliance, year-end audits, and government audits
