Role: DB2 DBA
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Mississauga, ON --- HYBRID

This is a HYBRID Role - 2 days a week onsite. The candidates Must be located in Toronto / GTA.

- Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and database deployment patterns using Helm charts and Operators.
- Knowledge of other databases Preferred: PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities
Administer IBM Db2 and Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Support database automation and deployment in enterprise environments using scripting, CI/CD tools, container platforms, and related infrastructure.
Requirements
Requires 8–10+ years of senior-level experience with IBM Db2 and Oracle administration, including RMAN backup and recovery and Data Guard or an equivalent solution. Candidates should also have scripting and automation experience, CI/CD knowledge, Linux and Windows administration, networking and infrastructure knowledge, and familiarity with container platforms; banking, finance, insurance, or fintech experience is relevant.
