Role: IT Application Security Manager
Duration: Fulltime / Permanent
Location: Toronto, ON --- HYBRID

This is a HYBRID Role - 3 days a week onsite. The candidates Must be located in Toronto / GTA.

Required Skills:
- Application security or software development with security focus
- SAST (Static Application Security Testing)
- DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
- Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Managing and mentoring security Teams
- Define & Execute Roadmaps
- OWASP Top 10, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements
Technical Skills:
- Veracode
- Checkmarx
- Burp Suite
- OWASP ZAP
- Secure coding principles
- Vulnerability remediation.
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Certifications (Preferred):
- CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, GWAPT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities
Manage and mentor security teams while defining and executing application security roadmaps. Oversee application security testing and vulnerability remediation, applying relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Requires 8–10+ years of experience in application security or software development with a security focus, along with expertise in SAST, DAST, SCA, and security team leadership. Familiarity with Veracode, Checkmarx, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, secure coding, cloud security, and banking, finance, or insurance is sought; relevant security certifications are preferred.
