  • Execute network updates, firmware upgrades, and firewall configuration changes following zero-trust security standards.
  • Maintain documentation, including network topology diagrams, equipment inventories, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, security specialists, and third-party telecom vendors to resolve outages and manage installations.
  • Support project deployments, including hardware provisioning, facility turn-ups, and technology lifecycle replacements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours maintenance windows for critical network upgrades and emergency response.

  • Core Networking: Solid understanding of the OSI 7-layer model, Cisco routing/switching, IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
  • Infrastructure & Security: Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise routers, switches, wireless networks, and core firewall security concepts.
  • ITIL & Ticketing: Practical knowledge of ITIL practices, formal change management procedures, and incident ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Professional Competencies: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-have skills

  • Firewall & Security Suites: Working knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and VPN technologies.
  • Network Access Control: Exposure to Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or enterprise NAC platforms.
  • Monitoring Platforms: Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Checkmk.
