Role: Opentext Developer
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Location: Toronto, ON --- HYBRID

This is a HYBRID Role - 2 days a week onsite. The candidates Must be located in Toronto / GTA.

Seniority Level - 8-10+ Years (Intermediate - Senior)
Required Skills:
- Experience: 4-5+ years of hands-on software development experience specializing in OpenText product suites.
- Core Product Expertise: Strong expertise in OpenText Content Server (v16.x or v20.x+), xECM, Archive Server/Center, WebReports, and Workflow Designer.
- Programming & Development Skills:
- Proficiency in Oscript and Content Server SDK.
- Strong experience with Web APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid background in Java, C#, or Python for backend integrations.
- Database & SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Integration Experience: Hands-on experience integrating OpenText with SAP (xECM for SAP), Microsoft SharePoint/365, or Salesforce.
- Operating Systems & Web Servers: Familiarity with Windows Server, RHEL Linux, IIS, and Apache Tomcat environments.
Preferred Qualifications / Good-to-Have
- OpenText Certified Developer or Administrator credentials.
- Experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture (formerly Captiva), AppWorks, or Directory Services (OTDS).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
