Roles and responsibilities:

We are engaged by an established North American manufacturing organization to hire a seasoned, hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-system enterprise transformation.

Operating out of their corporate hub in Aurora, ON, you will oversee the simultaneous implementation and integration of core enterprise platforms across approximately 20 offices throughout North America. This is a lean, vendor-driven environment requiring a disciplined, practical PM who excels at orchestrating third-party integration partners, driving alignment among stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous project governance locally - without the requirement for travel.

Scope of the Transformation

The organization is currently finalizing platform selection and board approvals for an enterprise-wide modernization program. You will lead the delivery and cutover across four primary streams:

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Full-scale core operational and financial deployment.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Enterprise customer workflow and pipeline automation.
• Payroll & Workforce Management: Implementation of ADP.
• Expense Management: Implementation of SAP Concur.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Governance: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and risk mitigation logs across all four implementation streams.
• Vendor & Integrator Oversight: Manage external implementation partners and software vendors to ensure milestones, deliverables, service level agreements (SLAs), and change-request scopes are strictly adhered to.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise directly with business unit leads across 20 regional offices to coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration schedules, and cutover roadmaps.
• Project Controls: Track milestones, dependencies, resource allocations, and implementation budgets, providing executive reporting and status dashboards to the VP of IT.
• Change Management & Adoption: Collaborate with functional leads to streamline business processes, optimize transition workflows, and support end-user training strategies.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven PM Track Record: 8+ years of dedicated project management experience leading complex, multi-site enterprise software deployments (ERP, CRM, and corporate systems).
• Hands-On Execution: Demonstrated success driving implementations in mid-market or lean enterprise environments; comfort operating directly in the details rather than relying on large PMO support teams.
• Vendor Management: Deep experience managing third-party system integrators and SaaS vendors through RFP wrap-up, configuration, testing, and go-live phases.
• Industry Background: Previous experience delivering technology programs within manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location supply chain environments.
• Methodologies: Solid grounding in hybrid project management methodologies (Waterfall for stage-gate enterprise rollouts combined with Agile delivery practices). PMP certification is an asset.
• Communication & Presence: Exceptional stakeholder facilitation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
