Job Title - Technical Project/Program Manager
Job Description:
This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone with strong content strategy or knowledge-management foundations and practical experience with enterprise search, generative AI or RAG-enabled knowledge experiences. The role does not require an AI engineer. It requires a thoughtful practitioner who can apply knowledge principles in an evolving AI environment, translate technical concepts into practical guidance and continue building expertise alongside Product and Technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead knowledge architecture and content strategy initiatives across HR, including content models, taxonomy, metadata, findability, governance and source-of-truth principles.
Help develop and evolve AI-ready content standards that improve the quality, consistency and retrievability of knowledge used by AskHR and other employee-facing channels.
Contribute to assessments of retrieval performance and content effectiveness, helping distinguish content, metadata and governance issues from potential platform limitations.
Act as a senior consultant to HR teams, helping leaders, content owners and subject-matter experts improve fragmented or duplicative content and make sustainable knowledge decisions.
Guide teams on structuring complex HR policies, processes and guidance for both human comprehension and AI-powered retrieval, without assuming ownership of the underlying policy.
Partner with Product, Technology, Search/AI, Communications and other stakeholders to shape business requirements, success criteria and practical approaches.
Support the development of a governed, authoritative source for employee-facing HR knowledge.
Contribute to the evaluation of search and RAG outcomes, helping identify how content structure, metadata and governance affect retrieval quality.
Use data, user feedback and retrieval observations to improve content standards, governance and author guidance.
Develop practical guidance, assessment approaches and recommendations that build HR capability and reduce dependency on the KM team.
Lead complex workstreams independently, navigate ambiguity and influence decisions across a global, decentralized stakeholder environment.
Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, information architecture, enterprise content or a related discipline.
Experience designing or improving content structures, taxonomies, metadata, governance or findability.
Working knowledge of generative AI, enterprise search and retrieval-augmented generation, including a practical understanding of how content structure and governance influence retrieval.
Experience advising stakeholders and translating complex or technical issues into practical
recommendations.
Strong analytical, consulting, facilitation and written communication skills.
Ability to lead work independently and collaborate across functions, regions and time zones.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in information science, knowledge management, communications, business, digital strategy or a related field.
Experience applying knowledge-management or information-architecture practices within an AI-powered assistant, enterprise-search or RAG-enabled environment.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or another enterprise content-management platform.
Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Microsoft Copilot Studio or comparable enterprise AI/search technologies.
Experience developing retrieval-quality measures, content-readiness assessments, search testing or
knowledge-health frameworks.
Experience in a regulated, global or highly distributed organization, preferably within HR or employee-service environments.
Knowledge of content rationalization, repository consolidation, cross-channel publishing or authoritative- source strategies.
Change-management, learning or author-enablement experience that supports adoption of new content standards and ways of working.
