Role: Sr. Digital / Application Architect

Scope
- Candidate needs a combination of enterprise/application architecture, Azure/OpenShift, integration, governance, business analysis, and technical leadership exp.
- Client is looking for a senior architect who can design the technology direction for client’s applications and digital services, guide development/support teams, and ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with client’s architecture standards.
- The person will work across applications, data, AI, integrations, cloud, security, DevOps, and application support.
- This is a hands-on architecture leadership role, not someone who only creates high-level diagrams. Support data, analytics, and AI initiatives by:
- Defining architecture approaches for analytics, data integration, reporting platforms, and AI-enabled services.
- Supporting secure and compliant use of AI technologies within client’s environments.
- Contributing to data governance, information architecture, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage common capabilities and reusable services across applications, data, and AI solutions.
Education:
- College or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
Skills:
- Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads.
- Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- Experience identifying and assessing requirements within multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers and analysts to design and optimize cloud architecture and services.
- Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries.
- Experience working as an application architect developing a solution using amCharts charting framework in an enterprise IT environment.
- Experience working as an application architect developing mobile solutions in an enterprise IT environment.
- Experience working with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws.
