Role: DevOps Engineer – Production Support
Location: Toronto, ON – Onsite
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer – Production Support with strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, GitHub, SRE, and production support to support highly available, business-critical payments and financial services platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform RCA, and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Support deployments, release validation, rollback, and recovery activities.
- Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools.
Requirement:
- Strong hands-on AWS experience – EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.
- Minimum 8 years of experience required
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- CI/CD – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Production Support / SRE experience.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA skills.
- Automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring/logging/observability tools.
- Experience in Payments, Banking, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
