Role: Power BI Developer
Location: Mississauga, ON
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in business intelligence, data warehousing, advanced SQL, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Snowflake, and Python to build scalable data solutions and deliver insightful reports and dashboards.
Experience with API integration using PowerShell and REST APIs, as well as OLAP cube development, is an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in BI development, data warehousing, and analytical queries.
- Have experience in Banking/Financial Services
- Strong hands-on experience with DAX.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL and Snowflake.
- Hands-on Python experience for data processing and transformation.
- Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and query optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Mississauga three days per week.
