Role: Technical Architect

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Type: Long-Term Contract

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong Financial Services/Capital Markets experience to design and deliver enterprise technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, APIs, data integration, and document management platforms such as Box.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable enterprise architectures and integration solutions.
  • Lead technical design, POCs, implementations, and deployments.
  • Architect Box/document management and third-party integrations.
  • Design cloud, microservices, API, and data solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Security, Platform, and Technology teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers and implementation teams.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions and client demonstrations.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in Technical/Solution Architecture.
  • Strong Financial Services/Capital Markets experience.
  • Experience with Box or document management systems.
  • Strong REST APIs, JSON, microservices, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of SSO, DLP, data masking, and cloud security.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
